Another Good Shopping Trip

We're still clipping coupons and looking for good deals, and it's continuing to pay off. Two weeks ago we saved around $100, and if I remember right, I think we spent a little over $100, so that's about $50-60 a week in groceries. Not too shabby.

This week we spent $116.98, we saved 89.83, and bought 78 items which averages out to be about $1.50 per item. We mostly just followed the store ads with a few coupons. I also have done some good deals at Walgreens. Once my coupon collection grows, we'll be a lot better at this!

Good work! I still haven't done too much with coupons/rebates yet. Do you print your coupons online or do you get mailed advertisements? ...I still feel slightly overwhelmed by it all. Some ladies have it down to an art and science on those blogs you told me about.

...I'm still always open for more tips/advice/help!

We print coupons online and we cut coupons from the Sunday paper (which we get only because the bakery has a subscription). Mostly we have been looking at the grocery ads, and then trying to find coupons to use on top of the sales.

There are good forums out there. Did I already give you the Coupon Mom forum? Here it is: http://forum.couponmom.com/

I'm inspired! I always check ads but I'm no good with coupons. Will you send some blog links my way? Just leave a comment on my blog. Thanks!
