HI camilla, how fun to see a new poster on my blog...the blogger world is such a small one :O) So fun to see your cute family too.
First things first, I get most of my deal ideas from www.refundcents.com--the site my mom helps to maintain. It's a $1 a month for online access and has FABULOUS deals. I have so much food storage overload it's ridiculous. My husband always tells me to stop doing deals because it's stuff we'll just have to pack up to move. ;o) there's also other online coupon sites such as www.moneysavingmom.com--this one is a freebie site. plus, there's tons of coupons online you can print (also available on the main [free] part of refundcents) anyhow, hope this helps. feel free to email anytime.
These are the things that I did with Brightynn and with McKinney, though I'm not sure if they will work for her.
We made a big deal about the underwear. She picked it out as well as a potty toy, stickers, and small candy.
Then I made a chart with 20 squares that had a picture of a potty and then her toy. Every time she would go in the potty, she would put a sticker on a square and get a candy (like one m&m). Once all of the squares were filled she got her toy. I did have McKinney teach a dolly how to use the potty and went through each step and the dolly got to put a sticker on the chart as well.
I put my kids in diapers during naps and nightime. It took probably a good 6 months after Brightynn was potty trained that she didn't wear a diaper at night. I hope that helps! Oh, another thing is I didn't stress about the accidents and told myself I would get the carpets professionally cleaned once she was done. Good luck!!
