Another one bites the dust

Yep, we've killed another one. We have been fish-sitting the last six months or so for Chris' family while they remodel their house. It was just a beta fish, and I don't think anyone really cared about him. I don't even know if he had a name. In any case, we found him dead in his bowl this afternoon. Unlike poor Franklin, we know why the fish died--we often forgot to feed him. I guess we don't do well with living things; we killed a lot of the Hadley's house plants when we lived in Farmington, and we were unsuccessful with our garden. We really want a dog someday, and when that day comes, I promise that I will feed it and walk it and not kill it. Unlike many of the other things we've killed, I actually like dogs, and would take care of it--I promise!

I'm sorry for your (or, well, Chris's family's) loss -- but that's HILARIOUS. You make me laugh. :-)
